Toni Richter, Somatic Therapist
My mission is to walk alongside women and moms as they break old patterns, heal inherited pain, and rediscover the strength and wisdom in their bodies. To create a future where women trust themselves deeply, live from the wisdom of their bodies, and no longer carry what was never theirs to begin with.
Toni Richter | Somatic Therapist is a virtual therapy practice dedicated to supporting women—especially mothers and female therapists—in transforming at the roots. I work with women in Missouri and Utah who are ready to go deeper than traditional talk therapy.
Through a unique blend of EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, trauma-conscious yoga, and IFS, I guide women back to their bodies, where true transformation, reconnection, and liberation begin. My work supports women in untangling attachment wounds, breaking cycles of perfectionism and shame, and reclaiming a sense of wholeness that goes beyond survival.
I believe growth isn’t about “fixing” yourself—it’s about remembering you are already enough. My approach is relational, body-based, and rooted in dismantling the systems of patriarchy, capitalism, and white supremacy that disconnect women from themselves. Therapy with me is a space to set down what was never yours to carry, rise rooted in your body’s wisdom, and step into a life that feels authentic and free.
In short: I help women—especially mothers and female therapists—go deeper than traditional talk therapy. Using somatic approaches, I guide women back to their bodies where transformation, reconnection, and liberation begin. This is a space to set down what was never yours to carry and rise into a life that feels authentic and free.
