Gentle Somatic Practices

A few simple, grounding practices you can explore at home:

  • Orienting: Look around your space and notice five things that feel safe or comforting.

  • Grounding through touch: Place your feet on the floor and press down, noticing the support underneath you.

  • Breath awareness: Place a hand on your chest or belly and gently follow the rise and fall of your breath for a few cycles.

(These practices are meant as gentle supports, not replacements for therapy.)
